Profiles: Anne Dixon

Anne Dixon brings vast business experience and professional follow through to business transactions in which she is involved. She has been affiliated with both large, publicly traded corporations and small, family run companies. Anne has been instrumental in the fast paced telecommunications corporate world as well as brokerage/banking institutions where her tenacity and leadership resulted in cutting edge sales and marketing teams, and delivering exceptional financial returns. The broad scope of her experience provides the foundation needed to deliver successful solutions in all types of commercial business activities.

Being a Shreveport native gives Anne an understanding of Northwest Louisiana’s people and business environment. Corporate relocations allowed her to live in other cities in Louisiana as well as Texas and Colorado returning home in 2003. Her professional experiences include involvement in all aspects of three startup companies, from inception - to design - to giving them life, one of which progressed to an IPO offering. Holding executive positions both in telecommunications and financial services corporations provide the cornerstones for her strong business skills. Most recently, she has been involved in the purchasing of investment properties, their rehabilitation and management. These activities have developed her strong research, financial evaluation and negotiating skills in the real estate industry.

Northwestern State University is where Anne obtained a B. S. in Business Administration. Her professional affiliations include being a member of the Northwest Louisiana Board of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, and the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the Northwest Louisiana Board of REALTORS®. Anne has also elected to pursue the prestigious CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and is currently completing the educational course work.

Anne is a true believer in community service. Her passion for activities which allow her to give back to the community has resulted in leadership positions with such organizations as Rotary International, Salvation Army, American Red Cross and numerous church affiliations. Anne is married to Tom Dixon and they have three sons.
