Angel Pou began her real estate career in 1998 with J. Wesley Dowling Coldwell Banker. Since joining Avant Properties in 2002, Angel has represented both the landlord and tenant in the leasing of over 750,000 square feet of commercial property in both the central business district and suburban markets.

Her background as a leasing agent has given Angel an ability to see the “complete picture” in terms of the needs and concerns of the tenant in today’s competitive marketplace. This ability, together with her capacity to build relationships, has lead to Angel’s success in the field of commercial property management and her promotion to Vice President of Commercial Properties in 2008. Angel has extensive experience in budget creation and administration, tenant improvement design and construction and the creation and implementation of preventive maintenance procedures. These skills and Angel’s leasing background have made her the director of the Avant Properties property management team and a valuable asset to property owners.

Angel attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport where she majored in Business Administration. She is a Notary Public and is a member of the local chapter of BOMA, the Northwest Louisiana Board of REALTORS®, the National Association of Realtors, a board member of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the Northwest Louisiana Board of REALTORS®, and a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) where she is a candidate for the prestigious Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. Angel is active in the Shreveport Little Theatre Guild, Loyola Parents Association, Caddo Middle Magnet Parents Association and is a sustainer of the Junior League of Shreveport –Bossier. She and her husband Bill are the parents of Lindsey, Rex and John Peyton.
